Horsley Awarded $7.1M NSF Cooperative Agreement for Global Deep-Tech Startup Alliances
ECE/MIE Professor David Horsley, in collaboration with Michelle Kiang at MTM Venture Partners, has been awarded a $7.1 million National Science Foundation grant for “Scaling Deep Tech Innovation Through International Partnerships” to position Northeastern as the lead institution in a major international expansion of deep-tech partnerships.

Northeastern PhD Student Earns Prestigious IEEE MTT-S Graduate Fellowship
Haoling Li, a PhD candidate in electrical engineering at Northeastern University, has been selected for the Graduate Fellowship from the Microwave Theory and Technology Society (MTT-S) of IEEE—only the second Northeastern student ever to receive the honor, and the first since 2012. His research bridges millimeter-wave communication systems and quantum computing hardware through a unified set of circuit design principles.
